Belk

Throughout my 2.5 years with Belk, I served in three distinct roles focused on Visual Merchandising. I served as the lead visual associate over the Ladies’ Ready-to-Wear floor at the $71 million flagship location at South Park Mall in Charlotte, NC. I was then promoted to work at the corporate headquarters in Charlotte, as a Visual Merchandising Training Coordinator. In this role I traveled extensively throughout the Southeast, spanning 30 stores in 10 states, to train store teams on new company-wide merchandising strategies. Then, as the Visual Manager of Belk at the Forum in Atlanta, GA, I oversaw all visual merchandising for the $10 million store including Ladies’ Ready-to-Wear, Men’s, Kids, Home, Cosmetics, Shoes, and Accessories departments, working closely with regional and district executives.
